General Martok is a very distinguished charcter in Deep Space 9. He is played by John G.
      Hertzler. John's character is very well known throughout the Klingon Empire, (being a highly
      decorated General and all).

         During the Dominion War,  he led many raids on thier Outposts and Depots with the I.K.C.
       Rotarran. Commanding the Rotarran with cunning and efficiency, he succeeded many times.
        Martok lost his left eye battling some Jem'Hadar.

        Before that, Martok accepted Worf, Jadzia, and Alexzander into the House of Martok.
        Martok is also a highly decorated General and High Council Member. He was given
        leadership of the Empire after Gowron's death by Worf.

         After being given Leadership, he also was given the I.K.C  Negh'Var, the Flagship of the
       Klingon Defense Force. With the Negh'Var and the entire Klingon Empire at his disposal, (and
       the help of the Federation and Romulans), they emerged victorious.
